Three Kossuth Boys Enter Cadet School
According to word received from San Antonio Aviation Cadet Center, Texas, three Kossuth boys were part of a class of 211 aviation cadets from Iowa now stationed at the army preflight school at San Antonio. They boys are Richard J. Cook, South Moore street and Arthur Lundh, East North street, Algona, and Duane G. Hansen, of Burt.

ARTHUR LUNDH SOON TO RECEIVE WINGS
Pampa Army Air Field, Texas: Scheduled to receive his silver pilot’s wings and officer’s bars soon at this twin-engine advanced flying school of the AAF Training Command is Aviation Cadet Arthur Lundh, 20, son of Mr. and Mrs. Swan A. Lundh, East North St., Algona. He is an alumnus of Algona high school. Appointed to flight training in October, 1943, he received primary flight training at Arledge Field, Stamford, Texas, and basic flight training at Sherman, Texas. At the completion of his rigid training here, he will be assigned to duty as an instructor or a combat pilot.
