Lawrence Losch

LAWRENCE LOSCH—Son of Mr. and Mrs. Matt Losch, an artilleryman with nearly 3 years service in Alaska.  Writing home, he told of having to kill two big bears.  Like the playful bears in the National parks, these bears were trying to get into the cook tents for food and were tearing up the tents.  And so the soldiers had to shoot the bears.
