Private Elvin C. Lippke, 23, of LeMars, son of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Lippke, of Merrill, Iowa, has arrived at Washington university, St. Louis, Missouri, for a course of army air force instruction lasting approximately five months, prior to his appointment as an aviation cadet in the army air forces.
