Estherville, Ia.—First Lieut. Clarence S. Lewis, United States Army, former chief clerk in the division freight agent’s office Rock Island Railway, here, has been transferred from Lima tank depot, Lima, O., to a port of embarkation.

Clarence Shirley Lewis was born Oct. 11, 1903 to Harry Henry and Abbie Marie Stillwell Lewis. He died Nov. 17, 1981 and is buried in Santa Rosa Memorial Park, Santa Rosa, CA.
Col. Lewis served with the U.S. Army in World War II and Korea.
