Lieut. Leonard Larson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Larson of Wallingford has been promoted to the rank of captain. Capt. Larson recently was transferred from Camp Roberts, California, to New York City. He formerly practiced dentistry at Spencer, Ia., before induction into the service.

Leonard Larson was born Feb. 28, 1915 to Chris and Louisa Seim Larson. He died Oct. 31, 1986.
