KILLED IN ACTION
Pfc. Fred Kranz of the marine corps was killed in action Oct. 6, according to work received by his father, Fred Kranz, 619 Fourth street, Thursday. Overseas three months, he had been in the marines about a year and was in the southwest Pacific at the time of his death.
