Rock Valley, Ia.—Arthur Kooiker is spending a leave with his parents after seven months’ service with the navy in the South Pacific. He is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kooiker.

Arthur Kooiker B.M. 1/c arrived home on a 30-day leave after spending the past seven months in the South Pacific. He will report to Des Moines for reassignment. Art is spending his leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Kooiker.

Arthur Kooiker BM 1/c of the Navy, left Wednesday for Des Moines where he was to report for reassignment. He was sent to San Diego from there. He had spent a 30-day furlough in the parental Ralph Kooiker home.
