DAMAGE CONTROL
Coast Guardsman Donald M. Holly, boatswain’s mate first class, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry C. Holly, 2220 South Ninth street, is in charge of deck operations aboard a 183-foot coast guard buoy tender carrying on aids to navigation in central Pacific waters. At battle quarters, Don takes charge of No. 1 damage control party to direct repairs as soon as any damage is done to the ship by enemy action. Don is married to the former Delores M. Jones and their sons, Donald and Gary, are 4 ½ and 2 years old, respectively.
