NEWS OF MEN IN THE SERVICE.

Private Gerald Hemphill, who is stationed at Fort Riley, Kansas, arrived home Thursday on a furlough. His father, Sam Hemphill, of Merrill, is in poor health and “Bill” came home on that account.

Gerald Hemphill, Cpl. Hq. M.P.R.T.C., Ft. Custer, Michigan, has been in service about 17 months military policing in a big way. His wife has a good position near his camp.
