FIGGINS GETS NAVY PROMOTION
Willard K. Figgins with the amphibious forces in the south Pacific for the last nine months has been promoted from quartermaster 2/c to quartermaster 1/c.
Figgins, whose wife resides at 330 West Pierce street, has been in the navy two and one-half years and received his quartermaster training at San Diego, Calif.
He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Figgins, 394 Lincoln avenue.

Willard Kenneth Figgins was born Oct. 12, 1913 to Ralph Melvin and Eunice May Graft Figgins. He died Mar. 15, 1979 and is buried in Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Council Bluffs, IA.
