NEWS OF OUR MEN and WOMEN IN UNIFORM
Sgt. Willie D. Davis has been transferred from Camp Adair, Ore., with the Infantry and is now believed to be on his way overseas. He received his mail in care of the Postmaster, New York City. Mrs. Davis and son, who have been with him at Corvallis, Ore., arrived in Danbury last week to remain there at the Collins Hotel for the duration.

William David “Willie” Davis was born May 3, 1920 to David A. and Ida E. Means Davis. He died Mar. 27, 1995 and is buried in Saint Marys Catholic Cemetery, Mapleton, IA.
