John R. Tudehope, who wife is Norma Tudehope, 1811 Douglas Street, is one of six Sioux City men who have reported for training at the naval training station at Farragut, Idaho. The other five are: Arnold Bernard Connelly, son of Mr. and Mrs. P.W. Connelly, 2608 W. Fourth Street: Robert Austin Johnston, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert J. Johnston, 2120 Summit Street; George Jule Buntley, son of Mr. and Mrs. H.H. Buntley, 1001 S. Cornia Street; LeRoy Clark, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Clark, 2105 Logan Street and Truman Gayle Meacham, whose wife resides at 2013 Metropolitan Street.

Arnold B. Connelly, son of Mr. and Mrs. P. W. Connelly, 2608 W. Fourth street, has completed his basic training at Farragut naval training station, Farragut, Idaho, and is spending a 11-day leave here. He has two brothers also in service, Willard, seaman first class, and Private Lawrence, who is in north Africa.

Arnold Bernard Connelly was born Aug. 10, 1923 to Patrick William and Alma Forsling Connelly. He died Feb. 16, 1997 and is buried in Memorial Park Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.
