Pvt. Kasper Brunstedt of Merrill, who was stationed at the Great Lakes Training Station at Chicago left Saturday after spending a nine day furlough with his wife and relatives.

Casper W. Brunsted, Mo. M.M. 2/c has arrived overseas. He is a diesel engine mechanic on a tank landing ship. He has been at Little Creek, Va., Panama, New Orleans, and New York since December. He had a five day furlough with his wife and daughter Sally early in December. His wife leaves Sally with Grandma Brunsted while she works at the Wind King.
