Harold Berkenpas, 2/c, returned to the naval base at Fort Pierce, Florida, on Friday, after spending a short leave at the home of his father, Henry Berkenpas.

Harold Lloyd Berkenpas was born June 11, 1926 to Hein Sipkes “Henry” and Anna Tammenga Berkenpas. He died Jan. 16, 2005 and is buried in Memorial Cemetery, LeMars, IA.
