Pfc. LaVerne A. Belding

 

 

Waucoma - Pfc. LaVern Belding of the medical division, located at Camp Hale, Colo., is spending a 15-day furlough with his parents, Dr. And Mrs. P.H. Belding. Pfc. Belding is recovering from an appendectomy performed in the base hospital at Camp Hale. He will return to his duties Friday.

Waucoma - Pfc. LaVerne Belding, wearing four combat stripes and a medical combat badge, came Tuesday for a 33-day furlough with his parents, Dr. And Mrs. P.H. Belding and other relatives. Pvt. Belding has served eight months in Italy with the ski troops and at the end of his furlough will return to Camp Carson, Colo., for reassignment.
