Sgt. David A. Baumhover left for his post at Salt Lake City, Utah yesterday afternoon, after spending a fifteen-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Baumhover.

David Anthony Baumhover was born Aug. 2, 1922 to Frank William and Anna M. Heller Baumhover. He died July 25, 2007 and is buried in Carroll City Cemetery, Carroll, IA.
Sgt. Baumhover served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps.
