2nd Lt. Donald C. Ainslie

Silver pilot wings and a commission as second lieutenant were awarded recently to Donald C. Ainslie, son of K. C. Ainslie, 5103 Orleans Avenue, at graduation exercises held at La Junta army air field, Colorado. During the last 10 weeks of his training he learned to pilot a TB-25 Mitchell Bomber. His wife has been residing with him in Colorado.

Second Lt. Donald C. Ainslie, son of K. C. Ainslie, 5103 Orleans avenue, is completing his training as a B-29 pilot at Smoky Hill army air field, Salina, Kan.  A graduate of East high school, Lt. Ainslie received his preliminary training at Roswell, N. M.
