William Carleton Fischer was born Sept. 18, 1925 to William Paul and Emma C. Fischer. He died Apr. 24, 1949 and is buried in Phelps Cemetery, Decorah, IA. 

2nd Lt. Fischer served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.

George William Fisher was born Jan. 9, 1922 to George F. and Bernice Mae Hart Fisher. He died May 23, 1943 and is buried in Phelps Cemetery, Decorah, IA. 

Petty Officer Fisher served with the U.S. Naval Air Corps in World War II and was killed in an airplane crash after departing NAS Seattle.

Max Henry Forde was born Oct. 19, 1921 to Lewis and Mildred Forde. He died July 2, 1942 and is buried in Phelps Cemetery, Decorah, IA.

Petty Officer Forde served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Harold Arthur Frisbie was born Aug. 23, 1920 to Charles Chester and Elsie Peterson Frisbie. He died Feb. 20, 1943 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines and has a cenotaph in Calmar Lutheran Church Cemetery, Calmar, IA.

Petty Officer Frisbie served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Nevada (BB-36) and USS Peary (DD-226) and was MIA/FOD/KIA while serving on the Peary when it was sunk in enemy action near Darwin, Australia. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
