John William Niday was born Jan. 26, 1925 to Charles Kermit and Nellie Irene Reeves Niday. He died Aug. 1, 1946 and is buried in Shriver Cemetery, Wayne County, IA.
John served in World War II with the U.S. Navy. He was fatally injured in a ship explosion in the Philippines.
