Charles Simpson Dougherty was born Oct. 29, 1920 to Clark W. and Ethel Mickey Dougherty. He died Dec. 1, 2001 and is buried in Sutter Cemetery, Sutter, CA.

Charles served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS New Jersey (BB-62) in the Pacific.
