Ronald Ross Lanning was born Apr. 23, 1918 to Jerry Ross and June Della Northup Lanning. He died Feb. 18, 1942 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, East Coast Memorial, New York, NY.

Petty Officer Lanning served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Pollux (AKS-2) which grounded during a storm at Lawn Point off Newfoundland and was wrecked with 93 fatalities. He was MIA/FOD.

Harvey Harrison Lathrop was born Dec. 24, 1909 to Frank and Elsie Ellen Sales Lathrop. He died Aug. 1, 1944 and is buried in Shaul Cemetery, Ottumwa, IA.

Petty Officer Lathrop served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.
