Lloyd R. Kerr was born Sept. 27, 1923 to Alpheus Raymond “Ray” and Ethel Rhida Davis Kerr. He died Feb. 23, 1945 and is buried in Ottumwa Cemetery, Ottumwa, IA.

Lt. Kerr served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 527th Fighter Squadron, 86th Fighter Group and died as the result of an airplane accident while in the service of his country in France.

Kenneth Warren King was born Dec. 26, 1921 to Clarence E. and Helen Fern Nicholson King. He died June 19, 1944 and is buried in Normandy American Cemetery, Colleville-sur-Mer, France.

Pvt. King served in World War II with the U.S. Army 325th Glider Infantry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division and died of wounds received in action in France and was awarded the Purple Heart.
