Dick D. Connelly was born Dec. 23, 1921 to Joe H. and Ruth E. Wheaton Connelly. He died Nov. 27, 1944 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.

Lt. Connelly served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 370th Fighter Squadron, 359th Fighter Group and was MIA/KIA in Germany while serving his country. He was awarded the Air Medal with 4 Oak Leaf Clusters and the Distinguished Flying Cross with Oak Leaf Cluster.

Bill Connor was born June 10, 1920 to Frank and Edna Felt Connor. He died Oct. 7, 1944 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.

Pvt. Connor served in World War II with the U.S. Army 317th Infantry Regiment, 80th Infantry Division and died of wounds received in action in France.

Donald Dale Cook was born May 22, 1926 to Bert and Laura B. Cook. He died Mar. 8, 1945 and is buried in Westview Cemetery, Kirkville, IA.

Pvt. Cook served in World War II with the U.S. Army 54th Armored Infantry Battalion, 10th Armored Division, Medical Detachment and was KIA in Germany.

Charles Laverne Cornelius was born Sept. 15, 1919 to Charles L. and Myrtle Emma Greenlee Cornelius. He died Oct. 17, 1986 and is buried in Ottumwa Cemetery, Ottumwa, IA.

Ensign Cornelius served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.
