Charles served in World War II with the U.S. Army 392nd Anti-Aircraft Artillery Automatic Weapons Battalion.

Francis Everett Canny was born June 15, 1917 to Elza L. and Veda May Mace Canny. He died July 15, 1944 and is buried in Eldon Cemetery, Eldon, IA.

Pvt. Canny served in World War II with the U.S. Army and was KIA in France while serving his country.

Edward Martin Carroll was born Dec. 10, 1913 to Martin Leo and Mary Magdalene Burns Carroll. He died Sept. 28, 1944 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery and Memorial, Saint Avold, France. He was first buried at the Temporary American Cemetery in Limey, France. 

1st Lt. Carroll served in World War II with the U.S. Army 320th Infantry Regiment, 1st Battalion, 35th Infantry Division. He was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Joel F. Carter was born Aug. 9, 1925 to Arthur Fred and Martha Rose Callies Carter. He died Feb. 20, 1945 and is buried in the National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Pvt. Carter served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 23rd Marines, 4th Marine Division and died in the service of his country and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Petty Officer Caster served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was KIA on the shores of North Africa while serving his country.

Pvt. Caster served in World War II with the U.S. Army Infantry and was KIA in the closing phases of the battle for the island of Okinawa.
