Charles S. Bolar was born Jan. 26, 1918 to John William and Ella M. Bolar. He died June 3, 1942 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Pvt. Bolar served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 27th Material Squadron, 20th Air Base Group and died in the Philippine Islands while in the service of his country.

Robert Thomas Bottorff was born Oct. 11, 1921 to Donald L. and Marie Cunningham Bottorff. He died Feb. 22, 1944 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Ottumwa, IA.

Lt. Bottorff served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died of wounds received in action when the heavy bomber of which he was the bombardier was shot down during a raid over Germany. He was on his 11th mission when his plane was shot down.

William David Bottorff was born Mar. 15, 1918 to Carl Otto and Mary Matilda Morgan Bottorff. He died Nov. 19, 1943 and is buried in Brooks Cemetery, Hedrick, IA.

Cpl. Bottorff served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 398th Service Squadron and died while in the service of his country enroute from Alaska to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
