Russell Williams Adamson was born Mar. 17, 1920 to Lee Roy and Pauline M. Ellis Adamson. He died Feb. 2, 1944 and is buried in Ottumwa Cemetery, Ottumwa, IA.

Pvt. Adamson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died in an airplane accident near Bakers Field, CA while on a routine training mission.

Bernard G. Alexander was born in 1921 to Charles D. and Rose Alexander. He died Dec. 22, 1944 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.

Pvt. Alexander served in World War II with the U.S. Army 99th Reconnaissance Troop, 99th Infantry Division and died in the service of his country and was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Carl Robert Anders was born Mar. 23, 1925 to Carl Robert Osborn and Carrie Stoneking. He died Jan. 6, 1945 and is buried in Memorial Lawn Cemetery, Ottumwa, IA.

Pvt. Anders served in World War II with the U.S. Army 137th Infantry, 34th Division and was KIA in Belgium.

Morris Leland Ashmead was born Oct. 24, 1918 to Kyle Ashmead. He died Mar. 1, 1942 and is buried at sea and memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Taguig City, Philippines.

Petty Officer Ashmead served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was MIA/FOD/KIA aboard the USS Houston (CA-30) in the Senda Straits and awarded the Purple Heart.
