John Albert Dolash was born Aug. 31, 1919 to John W. and Frances “Fannie” Brezina Dolash. He died Dec. 24, 1943 and is buried in North Africa American Cemetery, Tunis, Tunisia.
Pvt. Dolash served in World War II with the U.S. Army 151st Field Artillery Battalion, 34th Infantry Division and died in Tunisia of infectious jaundice and cardiac dilation while in the service of his country.

Lt. Col. Dougan served with the U.S. Army in World War II. He loved World War II history and traveled to many World War II sites, including Pearl Harbor and the Midway Islands.
