Grady Arthur Peeples was born Aug. 1, 1925 to Grealy and Zula Mae Jones Peeples. He died July 27, 2006 and is buried in Rock Island National Cemetery, Rock Island, IL. 

Sgt. Peeples served in World War II with the U.S. Army 114th Post Company at the invasion of Okinawa.

John Joseph Peirce was born Mar. 14, 1926 to Harry J. and Eloise Evers Peirce. He died Mar. 15, 1945 and is buried in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport, IA.

Pvt. Peirce served in World War II with the U.S. Army and was KIA in France while in the service of his country.

Ralph Ira Pennock was born Sept. 10, 1918 to Raymond Ira and Lola Pearl Stringham Pennock. He died May 23, 1942 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Petty Officer Pennock served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS YP 277 which was destroyed by fire and explosions enroute to French Frigate Shoals (North of Hawaii).

Earl Orville Petersen was born Feb. 2, 1923 to Carl Ferdinand Wilhelm and Garnet F. Pahl Petersen. He died Oct. 19, 2007 and is buried in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport, IA. 

Earl served in World War II in the Pacific Theatre as an anti-aircraft gunner with the U.S. Army.

Howard Autry Peterson was born June 28, 1922 to Lars M. and Anna Katharine Peterson. He died Sept. 22, 1943 and is buried in Oakdale Memorial Gardens, Davenport, IA. Petty Officer Peterson served with the U.S. Naval Air Corps in World War II and was killed in a training accident.
