Kenneth Nelson was born in 1919 to Martin Alvin and Melissa Pearl Hook Nelson. He died in 1944 and is buried in Davenport Memorial Park, Davenport, IA.

Pvt. Nelson served in World War II with the U.S. Army and died in the service of his country.

Lewis Nathaniel Nelson was born Oct. 22, 1919 to Jacob Lewis and Mildred Anna Griggs Nelson. He died May 2, 1944 and is buried in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington, IA.

Sgt. Nelson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Ordnance Dept. and died at Army Air Force Regional Hospital, Army Air Force Tactical Center, Orlando, FL while in the service of his country.

William Dow Newton was born Mar. 23, 1921 to David Harrison and Lora Bell Cooksey Newton. He died Feb. 28, 1942 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Taguig City, Philippines and in Maple Grove Cemetery, Trenton, IA.

Petty Officer Newton served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Warrenton (DD-383), USS Pensacola (CA-24) and USS Houston (CA-30) and was MIA/FOD/KIA when the Houston was sunk in the Battle of Sunda Strait. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
