Julius William Kelding was born Apr. 5, 1907 to Johann Philip and Charlotte Sophie Burhop Kelding. He died May 6, 1943 and is buried in Saint Pauls Cemetery, Wheatland, IA.

Pvt. Kelding served in World War II with the U.S. Army 237th Engineer Battalion and was accidentally killed in an explosion that occurred in a machine shop on base at Fort Carson, Colorado.

William Harold Keller was born Mar. 1, 1925 to John and Katherine Schimmel Keller. He died Jan. 17, 1982 and is buried in Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport, IA.

William served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Elmer Kenneth Keppy was born Aug. 12, 1925 to Fritz and Amanda Wulf Keppy. He died Oct. 15, 1945 and is buried in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport, IA.

Sgt. Keppy served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 424th Bomber Squadron, 307th Bomber Group as an engineer on B-24M #44-51318 that crashed on Guam shortly after WWII was over.

Jack Dempsey Kerns was born Dec. 23, 1921 to Clarence Millard and Paula Marie Brygneaux Kerns. He died Mar. 3, 1945 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, St. Avold, France.

Lt. Kerns served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 81st Fighter Squadron, 50th Fighter Group and was MIA/KIA over Germany. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and Air Medal with 9 Oak Leaf Clusters.

William Emanuel Kerns was born Sept. 1, 1912 to Clarence Millard and Paula Marie Brugneaux Kerns. He died Nov. 22, 1952 and is buried in Davenport Memorial Park, Davenport, IA. William served in World War II with the U.S. Navy Seabees.
