Louis L. Claeys was born Nov. 30, 1914 to Julius and Augusta Ferrett Claeys. He died Apr. 8, 1943 and is buried in North Africa American Cemetery, Tunis, Tunisia.

Cpl. Claeys served in World War II with the U.S. Army 135th Infantry Regiment, 34th Infantry Division and was KIA in the North African Area. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Carl Charles Clark was born Apr. 14, 1912 to Perry C. and Olive Lybarger Clark. He died Sept. 13, 1944 and is buried in Pine Hill Cemetery, Davenport, IA.

Pvt. Clark served in World War II with the U.S. Army 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Division and died in France while serving his country.

Lawrence Elmer Claussen was born Apr. 14, 1918 to William and Minnie Claussen. He died Aug. 11, 1944 and is buried in Fairmount Cemetery, Davenport, IA.

Sgt. Claussen served in World War II with the U.S. Army 15th Combat Engineer Battalion, 9th Division and was KIA in France and awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
