Petty Officer Carmichael served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and died as the result of an electric shock while in the performance of his duty and in the service of his country.

John Junior Coyne was born Apr. 3, 1923 to Eugene Edward and Ruth Margaret Garnatz Coyne. He died Mar. 21, 1945 and is buried in Wall Lake Cemetery, Wall Lake, IA.

Cpl. Coyne served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps and was KIA at Iwo Jima, Volcano Islands in the performance of his duty and service of his country.

John Wallace Currie was born Aug. 22, 1915 to John and Nellie Shannon Smith Currie. He died Aug. 16, 1943 and is buried in Oakland Cemetery, Sac City, IA.

Lt. Currie served in World War II with the U.S. Army 133rd Infantry, 34th Infantry Division and died in the North African area while in the service of his country.
