Frederick Earl Sheeley was born Apr. 2, 1926 to Howard and Rowena Williams Sheeley. He died Nov. 19, 1944 and is buried in Clinton-Garfield Cemetery, Rolfe, IA.

Petty Officer Sheeley served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Kitty Hawk (AKV-1) and died while in the service of his country.

Donald Lawrence Shimon was born Aug. 29, 1924 to Lawrence Francis and Agnes M. Stover Shimon. He died Sept. 4, 1944 and is buried in Calvary Cemetery, Pocahontas, IA.

Sgt. Shimon served in World War II with the U.S. Army 7th Armored Infantry Battalion and was killed in a tank accident at Camp Polk, LA.
