Byron Earl Jackson was born Dec. 14, 1922 to John G. and Edith Elizabeth Boatman Jackson. He died Aug. 10, 1945 and is buried in Villisca Cemetery, Villisca, IA.

Pvt. Jackson served in World War II with the U.S. Army and died on Leyte Island, Philippine Islands as a result of drowning while in the service of his country.

Elmer James Jenkins was born Nov. 11, 1925 to Luther and Ollie Custer Jenkins. He died Nov. 17, 2011 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak, IA.

Elmer served in World War II with the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific.

Harold Thomas Jentoft was born May 27, 1912 to Martin Edward and Hattie Blanche Foster Jentoft. He died Nov. 24, 1943 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 3, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Petty Officer Jentoft served in World War II with the US. Navy aboard the USS Long Island (CVE-1) and USS Liscome Bay (CVE-56). He was MIA/FOD//KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Charles Russel Johnson was born Apr. 7, 1922 to Charles A. and Margaret Kennedy Johnson. He died Sept. 8, 2002 and is buried in Fort Logan National Cemetery, Denver, CO.

Capt. Johnson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 6th Combat Cargo Squadron, 5th Air Force.

Myron Paul Edward Johnson was born June 9, 1919 to Edward C. and Althea Edith Holmberg Johnson. He died May 1, 1945 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Red Oak, IA.

Pvt. Johnson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 33rd Armored Regiment, 3rd Armored Division and died in a hospital in Belgium as a result of malnutrition and pneumonia.

Pvt. Johnson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps and died as a result of an airplane accident near Phoenix, AZ.

Pvt. Jones served in World War II with the U.S. Army 47th Infantry.
