Tommie M. Philbeck was born May 20, 1912 to John W. and Stella Maris Philbeck. He died Dec. 24, 1944 and is buried in Lorraine American Cemetery, Saint Avold, France.
Maj. Philbeck served in World War II with the U.S. Army 190th Tank Battalion, 9th Armored Division. He was KIA and awarded the Bronze Star, Purple Heart and Luxembourg Croix de Guerre.
