Paul Clayton Lang was born July 3, 1918 to Joseph A. and Lelah M. Elder Lang. He died June 27, 1997 and is buried in Rose Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Marshalltown, IA. Paul served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

Charles Norman Langdon was born Feb. 11, 1918 to Norman E. and Ruth Alice Hobbs Langdon. He died Dec. 6, 1945 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 3, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii and in Riverside Cemetery, Marshalltown, IA.

Petty Officer Langdon served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Scamp (SS-277). He was MIA/FOD/KIA when that vessel was sunk by a mine. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Lloyd Henry Launder, Jr. was born June 9, 1921 to Lloyd H. (Sr.) and Lorraine Marian Springer Launder. He died Dec. 22, 1943 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, East Coast Memorial, New York, NY and in Riverside Cemetery, Marshalltown, IA.

Lt. Launder served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was MIA in the service of his country.

Dale Bigelow Leaf was born Apr. 13, 1915 to Claude E. and Elma Elizabeth Bigelow Leaf. He died Sept. 2, 1943 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium.

1st Lt. Leaf served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 334th Fighter Squadron, 4th Fighter Group and was MIA/KIA when shot down in France. He was awarded the Air Medal and Purple Heart.

Gordon Paul Lewis was born Aug. 5, 1927 to William F. and Irene Lewis. He died May 18, 1951 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Marshalltown, IA.

Sgt. First Class Lewis served with the U.S. Army Rangers in World War II. He also served in Korea where he was KIA.
