John Davis Dabney was born about 1922 to Charles and Hallie Elizabeth Cobbes Dabney. He died Mar. 15, 1943 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Petty Officer Dabney served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Triton (SS-201) and was MIA/FOD/KIA when that vessel was lost between Rabaul and Shortlands Basin, probably sunk by depth charge attack. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Harley Bert Davis was born Aug. 18, 1917 to Charles Adolph and Myrtle Belle Smith Davis. He died Sept. 13, 1996 and is buried in Gosport Cemetery, Gosport, IA.

Harley served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Kenneth Holdridge Davis was born May 25, 1926 to Ross Dellar and Rose G. Holdridge Davis. He died Oct. 25, 2016 and is buried in Cedar Memorial Park, Cedar Rapids, IA.

Kenneth served in World War II with the U.S. Navy.

Quentin Arthur “Tim” DeBoer was born Aug. 1, 1918 to Alex and Ora Mae Redding DeBoer. He died Apr. 5, 1945 and is buried in Netherlands American Cemetery, Margraten, Netherlands. 

Sgt. DeBoer served in World War II with the U.S. Army 311th Infantry Regiment, 78th Infantry Division and was KIA and awarded the Purple Heart.

Darrell DeCamp was born Dec. 4, 1915 to Ralph V. and Edna C. Fenn DeCamp. He died July 20, 1989 and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Knoxville, IA.

Pvt. DeCamp served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
