William Newton Yates was born Dec. 22, 1927 to William Henry and Mae Ellen Walton Yates. He died June 1, 2014 and is buried in Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Adel, IA.

Pvt. Yates served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II.

Keith LeRoy Young was born June 21, 1925 to Harold LeRoy and Martha Jane Kaufman Young. He died May 13, 1945 and is buried in Cedar Memorial Park, Cedar Rapids, IA.

Pharmacists Mate Young enlisted in the U.S. Navy and transferred to the U.S. Marine Corps Co. C, 1st Medical Battalion, 1st Marine Division and was KIA on Okinawa.

Omer Lyle Young was born Nov. 15, 1919 to Elmer Guy and Elizabeth May Farrell Young. He died Apr. 11, 1944 and is buried in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, IA and memorialized in Hazleton Fontana Cemetery, Buchanan County, IA.

Sgt. Young served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 525th Bomb Squadron, 379th Bomb Group and was died in the service of his country.

Russell Leo Young was born Nov. 5, 1918 to Richard C. and May Young. He died May 2, 1941 and is buried in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Lemay, MO. Russell served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
