Donald Leroy Whitson was born July 19, 1921 to Hiram P. and Edith A. Cook Whitson. He died June 11, 2009 and is buried in Cedar Memorial Park, Cedar Rapids, IA.

Donald served in World War II with the U.S. Army Medical Detachment, 1st General Hospital.

Harold Taft Whitson was bornĀ  May 21, 1908 to Hiram P. and Edith A. Cook Whitson. He died July 16, 1984 and is buried in Old Saint Mary Cemetery, Clinton, NJ.

Harold served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Frank Whittemore, Jr. was born Mar. 12, 1925 to Frank (Sr.) and Lillian M. Whittemore. He died Oct. 29, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, Florence American Cemetery, Impruneta, Italy.

Lt. Whittemore served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 779th Bomber Squadron, 464th Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/FOD/KIA over the Adriatic Sea while on a bombardment mission from Italy to Germany. He was awarded the Air Medal and Purple Heart.

Marvin Oscar Whitters was born July 22, 1923 to Frank Jesse and Ruth Willson Whitters. He died Oct. 13, 1943 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, North Africa American Cemetery, Tunis, Tunisia.

Petty Officer Whitters served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Bristol (DD-453) and was MIA/FOD/KIA when that vessel was attacked and sank while escorting a convoy to Oran, Algeria.
