Hilbert Siegel was born Jan. 15, 1921 to Morris and Sadie Steindler Siegel. He died June 22, 1944 and is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park (Glendale), Glendale, CA. He was initially buried in the 4th Marine Division Cemetery on Saipan and returned to the U.S. in 1948.

Sgt. Siegel served in World War II with the U.S. Marine Corps 4th Marine Division and was KIA Saipan.
