Ray Harrison Myers was born Oct. 15, 1922 to Ola Harrison and Ina Marie Kee Myers. He died Dec. 7, 1941 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 1, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii. Ray Harrison Myers served aboard the USS Oklahoma (BB-37) and was listed as MIA in the Dec. 7, 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor. His body was recovered Apr. 16, 2019 and he was finally laid to rest with full military honors in his hometown. Burial took place July 7, 2019 at the Blodgett Cemetery, Central City, IA.
