Francis D. Miles was born Aug. 6, 1920 to Marshall E. and Marcella E. Brislawn Miles. He died Oct. 24, 1944 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Cpl. Miles served in World War II with the U.S. Army 31st Infantry and became a POW and died as a POW while being transported from the Philippine Islands on a Japanese ship which was sunk by submarine action in the South China Sea. He was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

Leo H. Miles was born June 24. 1919 to Marshall E. and Marcella E. Brislawn Miles. He died July 31, 1924 and is buried in Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Sgt. Miles served in World War II with the U.S. Army 31st Infantry and was MIA after the surrender of Corregidor. He became a POW and died in Cabanatuan Prison Camp, Philippine Islands. He was awarded the Silver Star.

Duncan Rayburn Miller was born Sept. 24, 1910 to Carl Rayburn and Genevieve Robins Miller. He died May 22, 1945 and is buried in Luxembourg American Cemetery and Memorial, Hamm, Luxembourg. 

1st Lt. Miller served in World War II with the U.S. Army Combat Command A, 3rd Armored Division. He was awarded the Bronze Star.

John Scarborough Miller was born Dec. 25, 1923 to Emory J. and Inez Opal Scarborough Miller. He died Apr. 4, 1945 and is buried in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, Lemay, MO.

Lt. Miller served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 498th Bomb Group and died while in the service of his country.

Merle J. Miller died Jan. 6, 1945 and is buried in Henri-Chapelle American Cemetery, Hombourg, Belgium.

Pvt. Miller served in World War II with the U.S. Army 330th Infantry Regiment, 83rd Infantry Division and died in the service of his country and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Harold Clarence Milligan was born Apr. 1, 1924 to William Leslie and Pauline B. Milligan. He died Aug. 27, 1943 and is buried in Murdoch-Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids, IA.

Aviation Cadet Milligan died as the result of injuries sustained in an aircraft accident while serving as a member of the Aviation Cadet Detachment.

Charles Henry Mills, Jr. was born May 8, 1918 to Charles H. (Sr.) and Laura E. Menzie Mills. He died Jan. 16, 1996 and is buried in Cedar Memorial Park, Cedar Rapids, IA.

Charles served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Sgt. Miner served in World War II with the U.S. Army Co. C, 133rd Infantry, 34th Division and was KIA in Italy in the service of his country.
