Max Oliver Biesecker was born Nov. 3, 1923 to James Oliver and Hazel E. Flood Biesecker. He died Mar. 16, 1945 and is buried in Oak Shade Cemetery, Marion, IA. He was initially buried in the U.S. Armed Forces Zamboanga Cemetery No. 1, Zamboanga Mindanao, Philippine Islands.

Petty Officer Biesecker served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and died as the result of being accidentally killed by a falling tree while in the service of his country in the Philippine Islands.
