Elmer James Ondrasek was born Sept. 26, 1906 to James and Frances Catherine Malek Ondrasek. He died Sept. 15, 1946 and is buried in Holy Cross Cemetery, Howard County, IA.
Pvt. Ondrasek served in World War II with the U.S. Army Military Police, serving as head of the fire dept. at Pine Bluff Arsenal, Arkansas.
