Robert Alden Lee was born Apr. 5, 1918 to Charles E. and Marion Graves Lee. He died Oct. 17, 2013 and is buried in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Iowa City, IA. Robert served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

LaVerne Calvin Leeds was born Oct. 3, 1925 to Job Clayton and Mabel Blanche Arrasmith Leeds. He died Oct. 30, 1993 and is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Stratford, IA.

LaVerne served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Intrepid (CV-11).

Lester Arthur Leonard was born Dec. 13, 1921 to Thomas Earl and Leolin Hill Leonard. He died Sept. 27, 1943 and is buried in Ardennes American Cemetery, Neupre, Belgium. He has a cenotaph in Graceland Cemetery, Webster City, IA. 

2nd Lt. Leonard served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps as a Navigator with the 339th Bomber Squadron, 96th Bomber Group, Heavy on B-17F #42-30792. He was KIA in the vicinity of Wirdum, Germany and was awarded the Purple Heart.

Clifford Glen Leopold was born Feb. 19, 1917 to Lawrence Dell and Bertha Hazel Clabaugh Leopold. He died Dec. 5, 1978 and is buried in East Lawn Memorial Park, Mexico, MO. Clifford served with the U.S. Marine Corps in World War II.

Jesse Theodore Leopold was born Oct. 5, 1902 to Fidel “Del” and Myrtle Mae Olmstead Leopold. He died Mar. 17, 1982 and is buried in Lake View Cemetery, Palmers, MN. Jesse served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

Joseph Francis “Joe” Lepper was born Feb. 27, 1927 to Clare E. and Anna K. Berry Lepper. His wife (Temperance Elizabeth Staley Lepper) is buried in Emblem Cemetery, Emblem, WY. Joseph served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.
