Marion Edward Wilson was born Sept. 5, 1920 to Floyd and Linda Ann Lyons Wilson. He died Oct. 26, 1945 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.
Petty Officer Wilson served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Hoel (DD-557) and was MIA/KIA/FOD in the Battle of Samar in the Philippine Sea. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
