Daniel R. “Dan" Gilman was born Feb. 10, 1921 to Albert H. and Estella “Stella” Mary Grace Gilman. He died Feb. 6, 2009 and is buried in Oak Grove Cemetery, Stuart, IA. 

Dan served in World War II with the U.S. Army in New Guinea, Bismarck Archipelago, Southern Philippines and Luzon. He was awarded the Bronze Arrowhead and two Bronze Stars.

Clarence Zonas Goff was born Sept. 4, 1905 to Milton Sheridan and Laura Arminta Jordan Goff. He died Mar. 29, 1989 and is buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, Omaha, NE.

Clarence served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

Rolla Jordan Goff was born Sept. 15, 1898 to Milton Sheridan and Laura Arminta Jordan Goff. He died Sept. 30, 1970 and is buried in Union Cemetery, Guthrie Center, IA.

Sgt. Goff served with the U.S. Army in World War II.

John Richard Grove was born Dec. 26, 1921 to Frank Robert and Ruth Esther Miller Grove. He died Nov. 8, 1941 and is buried in Highland Cemetery, Bayard, IA. 

Pvt. Grove served in World War II with the U.S. Army 113th Cavalry Band.
