Lewis William Wilkinson was born Aug. 6, 1895 to Joseph O. and Catherine D. Ehlers Wilkinson. He died Sept. 30, 1945 and is buried in Junction Township Cemetery, Grand Junction, IA.

MSgt. Wilkinson served in World War II with the U.S. Army 185th Field Artillery, 34th Division.

Darrell Henry Wilson was born June 24, 1922 to Arthur Henry and Bertha Edith Mae Ingram Wilson. He died Dec. 20, 1989 and is buried in Sunset Memorial Gardens, Des Moines, IA.

Darrell served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.

George Arthur Wilson as born July 19, 1918 to Arthur Henry and Bertha Edith Mae Ingram Wilson. He died Aug. 3, 2005 and is buried in Jeffeson Cemetery, Jefferson, IA.

Harvey Marvin Wilson was born May 11, 1913 to Arthur Henry and Bertha Edith Mae Ingram Wilson. He died Mar. 19, 1993 and is buried in Duncan Valley Cemetery, Duncan, AZ.

Andrew John Wirtjes was born Apr. 11, 1924 to Frank J. and Martha Rose Allen Wirtjes. He died Nov. 25, 1944 and is memorialized at the Courts of the Missing, Court 2, Honolulu Memorial, Honolulu, Hawaii and in Grand Junction Cemetery, Grand Junction, IA.

Petty Officer Wirtjes served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Liscome Bay (CVE-56) and was MIA/FOD/KIA when that vessel was torpedoed and sank, while participating in the capture of the Gilbert Islands. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
