Elso Irvin Thomas was born May 16, 1921 to Lewis S. and Carrie Ryks Thomas. He died Dec. 9, 1944 and is buried in Epinal American Cemetery and Memorial, Dinoze, France.
Pvt. Thomas served in World War II with the U.S. Army 104th Infantry Regiment, 26th Infantry Division. He was awarded the Purple Heart.

Harold LeMar Tucker was born Oct. 15, 1921 to Wayne Reed and Iva Opal Butler Tucker. He died Nov. 25, 1944, was buried at sea, and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines. He has a cenotaph at Iowa Veterans Cemetery, Van Meter, IA.
Petty Officer Tucker served in World War II with the U.S. Navy and was MIA/KIA in the Pacific area while in the service of his country. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
