Glenn W. Johnson was born Apr. 18, 1919 to Judd and Winnie Pearl Jones Johnson. He died Sept. 14, 1944 and is memorialized at the Tablets of the Missing, East Coast Memorial, New York City, NY and has a cenotaph in Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson, IA.

LT JG Johnson served in World War II with the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Warrington (DD-383) and was lost at sea when that ship went down in a hurricane in the Atlantic Ocean.

Riley Patterson Jones was born June 5 , 1917 to Charles and Minnie S. Smith Jones. He died Sept. 7, 1944 and is memorialized at the Walls of the Missing, Manila American Cemetery, Taguig City, Philippines.

Sgt. Jones served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps, Headquarters Squadron, 19th Bomber Group, Heavy and was MIA/KIA as a POW aboard a Japanese freighter, Shinyo Maru, when that ship was sunk. He was awarded the Prisoner of War Medal and Purple Heart.
